Our Purpose
We do what we do so that useful, innovative, and affordable accessibility solutions are available to everyone, everywhere. From braille pads to brain computer interfaces, we exist to help take life-changing technology from the brains of builders into the hands of the people who need it most.
Our founder, Varun Chandak, lives with hearing loss and Erb’s palsy. He dreams of a future where smart contact lenses could deliver live captions on demand. That technology doesn’t exist - yet. But Access to Success was created to help make dreams like that a reality - not just for Varun, but for millions of others.
As of January 2025, our 60 alumni startups from 6 countries have benefited over 1 million people with disabilities and raised over $35M in funding. Our goal is to benefit 8 million people with disabilities by 2030, representing the current number of Canadians with disabilities.
