Collection of Information

Information you provide to us.

We may collect various information from you, including your first and last name, address, telephone number, email address and subject of inquiry, your interaction with our website and social media sites, and other information you provide to us. We may collect this information in various ways, including through your interaction with the Site, through your communications with us, including through the Site and by email, and through third party platforms, such as social media and event management platforms.

We may collect employment information, such as work history, references, your ability to work in Canada and other information, when you submit a job application and/or resume to us.

We collect information about your business if you apply to our startup accelerator program. This information may include, but is not limited to, general business information, contact information and biographies of individuals involved with the business and financial information.

We may also request demographic information from you for specific purposes which are disclosed to you at the time of the request. For example, we may request information about any accessibility needs in order to provide applicable programming and resources to you or to provide accommodations to you at a conference. We may also request that you complete a survey so we can learn about the types of individuals who use our Site and access our services and programs.

We or our third-party service providers may use cookies and other technologies for content personalization, performance, functional purposes, marketing purposes, as well as the ability to access secure areas of our site.   • which it was provided (for example, if you apply to a mentorship program, we may share
  • your information which prospective mentors; if you apply to ATS Labs, we may share
  • your information with prospective speakers and donors; we may use your responses to
  • our surveys for analysis and publication; etc.);
  • we may use third-party service providers to help us provide, analyze and improve the
  • services (including, but not limited to, development, program delivery, data storage,
  • maintenance, marketing, analytics and payment processing);
  • if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your
  • information may be transferred as part of that transaction, but we will notify you via email
  • and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in control or use of your
  • personal information, or if either become subject to a different privacy policy;

  • regulators and law enforcement agencies; and
  • we may share aggregated demographic or otherwise non-personal information with our
  • partners and donors, such as usage statistics of our Site or aggregated demographic
